Rokok Bisa Bikin Komputer Apple Rusak?

Bisa jadi ini menjadi peringatan dini bagi para pemakai produk keluaran Apple, terutama mereka yang suka merokok. Kenapa? Sebab gara-gara rokok, garansi yang dimiliki oleh konsumen Apple bisa tidak berguna lagi alias ditolak. Kasus seperti ini terjadi pada 2 konsumen di Amerika. Apple menolak mereparasi produk konsumennya karena mereka menilai kerusakan disebabkan atas asap rokok yang dikeluarkan pemiliknya sendiri. Tentu saja hal tersebut membuat kecewa pelanggan Apple. Mereka kecewa karena tidak menemukan bahwa dalam dokumen AppleCare, ada peraturan seperti itu. Beberapa hal yang menyebabkan garansi tidak berlaku, yang ada dalam dokumen itu, antara lain kerusakan karena kecelakaan, pengrusakan, salah install, lingkungan yang tidak memadai, termasuk juga beberapa kandungan seperti klorin dan kalsium karbonat. Namun Apple, ketika menerima komputer rusak dari pelanggannya itu mengatakan, bahwa mereka tidak bisa melayani perbaikan sebab rokok dari pemakainya telah mengkontaminasi mesin di dalamnya. Apple sendiri menolak untuk berkomentar tentang hal tersebut. Mereka tidak mengklarifikasi apakah benar merokok bisa menyebabkan garansi ditolak. (Channelinsider/Detik)
